Green Living has been defined as a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual's or society's use of the Earth's natural resources and personal resources.
Green Living is also known as Sustainable Living. This is done by attempting to reduce your carbon footprint in as many ways as possible such as.
You may find yourself asking "What can Green Living actually do?!" We believe that through the changes that we make in order to "live green" we will be able to make a huge impact on the environment that we are currently living in as well as the environment that our children and their children will be living in. We will be able to recycle, conserve water and conserve energy as well as cut back on the pollution that we release into the environment. We believe that through these steps, we are sustaining our environment for future generations. Without making these simple changes, we believe that our environment will be harmed greatly due to the lack of energy and water as well as the abundance of pollution.
At Martin Dodson Homes, we believe in the importance of trying to preserve our Earth. This is why we have begun building homes that are Earthcraft certified. By working together with the Earthcraft team during our planning period, we are able to ensure that our homes are being built on the principals of sustainable living.
